The Computer-Assisted Dispatch (CAD) Module provides a computerized format for comprehensive management of the communications functions for Police, Fire, and EMS units.
Features include the following:
- Interface with existing 911 systems including transfer of call address;
- Track on-duty unit assignments;
- Manage multiple active and pending calls;
- Use special entry screens dedicated specifically to traffic-stop information;
- Provide automatic alarm when units are out-of-service on a call over a specified period;
- Use enhanced history and information retrieval;
- Interface with CRIMES Local Warrant Module;
- Provide geo-code information and warning notices for hazardous dispatched locations;
- Mobile interface for call dispatch, status, and TLETS checks;
- Automated TLETS checks;
- Manage all public safety functions: Police, Fire, and EMS, with specially designed components for each; and
- Transfer of already recorded information to offense reports where appropriate.
