Hagan is Co-Director of the Center on Law and Globalization at the American Bar Foundation in Chicago. He received the Stockholm Prize in Criminology in 2009.Hagan is the Editor of the Annual Review of Law & Social Science. His research with a network of scholars spans topics from causes of crime to war crimes and human rights. He and also co-author Alberto Palloni recently wrote “Death in Darfur” which appears in a September issue of Science and is also co-author with Wenona
Two former gang leaders recently helped enlighten 250 professionals from corrections, probation, police departments, sheriffs’ offices and school police on gangs in Texas.
