Biography:

Beth entered the Ph.D. program in January 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Texas in 1983 and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2007.

As a Doctoral Research Assistant to Dr. Gaylene Armstrong, Ms. Freeman is currently participating in research projects in the areas of indigent defense and electronic monitoring of sex offenders.

Ms. Freeman has more than a decade of professional experience in legal research and litigation support for criminal and civil law practitioners in federal and state cases. Her additional research interests include American courts, criminal law, evidentiary law, and the impact of technology on law and the criminal justice system.
