Please observe the following when applying for scholarships through the College of Criminal Justice:

1. Only currently enrolled Sam Houston State University students in good academic standing are eligible for scholarships through the College of Criminal Justice.
2. Fill in all information requested in the application.
3. Include an official transcript for all college-level coursework you have completed to date.
   *NOTE: Be sure to send this transcript to the College of Criminal Justice, rather than to the University admissions or scholarship office.
4. Include a typewritten Personal History Statement describing your qualifications, scholastic record, academic classification, personal history, and professional goals.
5. Make sure the criminal justice section of the online application (page 4) is completely filled out.
6. Refer to the requirements for the specific scholarship for which you are applying to determine if any additional materials or actions are required.
7. For consideration in the scholarship process please ensure that all application materials are in by February 15.
