Biography:

Dr. Yan Zhang joined the College as an Assistant Professor in 2004. She specializes in quantitative research methods. Dr. Zhang has published in such journals as Crime & Delinquency, Journal of Criminal Justice, Policing: an International Journal of Police Strategies & Management, and Violence Against Women. She has received grants to study the effect of GIS systems on Policing Efficacy and the effectiveness of Texas Police Chief Leadership Programs at Sam Houston State University.
