In order to be considered for admission, potential applicants must possess the following:
- Graduate Studies Application for Admission.
- Three years of experience employed as a criminal justice professional (probation officer, police officer, corrections counselor, etc.) is preferable.
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field.
- Official copies of all transcripts.
- An acceptable undergraduate grade point average. A prima facie acceptable GPA is a 3.0 for the final 60 baccalaureate credits. A GRE score may be requested to demonstrate graduate study readiness if the GPA is inordinately low.
- Current TOEFL scores for international students.
- A completed applicant questionnaire form.
- Current résumé.
- Personal essay regarding career background and goals.
- Admissions are premised upon a holistic assessment of applicant qualifications.
