Masters Programs

  • The Master of Arts program is designed to prepare students to conduct research and actively participate in the development of knowledge in the areas of criminological theory, crime control, correctional and police administration, and legal issues in criminal justice. 
  • The Master of Science programs are designed to serve the needs of the experienced professional in criminal justice by developing and enhancing managerial skills.
  • The Master of Science in Security Studies provides students a comprehensive security management program to advance their knowledge of private and homeland security. 
  • The Master of Science in Forensic Science is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and abilities essential for successful careers in forensic science through academic coursework, hands-on experience in the laboratory, research, and the completion of an internship in a forensic science laboratory. 
  • The Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management (Intensive Weekend & Online) program is designed for persons in mid-management positions in criminal justice agencies, or for those who have reasonable expectations of being promoted to such a position.  This program is designed to provide easy access to high-quality graduate education.
